The CP-1V VHF antenna is a leap forward in RF technology. It occupies a small footprint of 18 inches square, but performs more effectively than much larger competitors. It is a true circularly polarized antenna, and covers the entire VHF wireless IEM/microphone/intercom band.

In performance tests, the CP-1V antenna exhibited fewer dropouts and greater overall range. Its rugged construction makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, including hilltop translator use. While not a high power transmit antenna, it handles enough power to make it practical for multi-transmitter VHF in-ear monitor systems.

Originally designed for use under FCC Part 74 for broadcast and entertainment applications, the UV-1G can also operate as a Part 15 device for general intercom use. Using RDGI’s advanced ENB (enhanced narrowband) modulation format, the system occupies only a 25 kHz wide channel, while providing high quality, 8 kHz bandwidth audio to minimize user fatigue.

The system has superior range, featuring two- and four-wire interfaces for each intercom channel. Highly ruggedized, the UV-1G can be used in a wide variety of environments, while the belt packs are suitable for outdoor use. It can be expanded to accommodate additional base stations and belt packs.

TC-8U Antenna

The TC-8U brings a new level of IM (inter-mod) performance to combiner systems, using advanced technology not found in any other system. It can be used with any low-power UHF application, such as IEMs (in-ear monitors), IFB (interruptible foldback) monitors, and wireless intercoms.

While IM products are still produced in any combined transmitter system, they are at much lower levels with the TC-8U.

Eight RF inputs are combined with low IM levels into one antenna output. Power levels of up to 250 mW per channel can be selected, and the unit is completely linear in operation, allowing use with the Radio Active Designs UV-1G enhanced narrowband intercom system.
